The Priddy Library is located on the ground level of Building III (Room 1200) between the Student Academic Center and the Bookstore. Visit the library and become familiar with the facility, its wide array of services and friendly staff who are always ready to assist you.

Sundays 12:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Mondays thru Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

How to Use this Guide

This guide will allow you to access library and web based resources to help you plan for a career in the field of Accounting.

Each section contains specialized resources for you to explore and consider in career planning.

 Explore Careers: Recently published books about career planning, accounting and business careers.  These books may be borrowed from any of the designated libraries through Hold Request and sent to Shady Grove.

More Explorations: Recent articles about accounting and why it's a good time to consider a career in the field.  Click the title for a direct link to the article text in the databse. This page also links to databses and journals in Research Port providing easy access to business and accounting informaton.

 Career Paths: Find a selected list of the many aspects of accounting that you can consider as a career. Find information about them in the databases and journals listed in the Guide or ask a librarian fo help. Use an assessment tool to help identify the related skills need for success in business, accounting and related endeavors.

 Networking: Connect with others and explore the current status and future trends in business, finance and accounting.
