New arrivals at the Shady Grove Library

This is a general guide designed to support the various biotechnology courses taught at the Universities at Shady Grove through the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC).  Further support is offered through the Guide to Biotechnology Resources, created by librarians at UMUC.

Paul Root Wolpe, the chief bioethicist at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the director of the Emory University Center for Ethics, examines extraordinary examples of the power of biotechnology to engineer life and raises questions about the ethics of these manipulations.
