MLA Web Site Citation
Web sites do not include subscription databases

  • Examples are not double-spaced, but your Works Cited list should be double-spaced
  • Examples do not show indented lines after the first line, but yours should be indented
  • New Abbreviations:
    • No publisher use N.p.
    • No date use n.d.
    • No pages use n.pag. 
    • No pagination use N.pag.
  • There are three elements absolutely necessary for any web site citation:
    • Name (or title) of site
    • Date of access
    • Media source..Web, Video

Author's Last Name, First Name Middle Initial. "Title of Content." Name of Web page. Name of organizational sponsor (not advertising sponsor), Date published or updated. Web. Day Month Year of Access.
