The Joint Commission, formerly known as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) established the Center for Transforming Healthcare in 2009. The Center works to systematically identify critical safety and quality problems in healthcare delivery and offer solutions to correct them.
