Brene Brown on the Power of Vulnerability

Brene Brown, Ph.D. is a professor at the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston.  Her research interests include qualitative research with a special focus on grounded theory methodology and shame and its impact on individuals, families, organizations, and communities. 

A representative journal article featuring both of these interests is Brown, B. (2006). Shame resilience theory: A grounded theory study on women and shame. Families in Society, 87(1), 43-52.
