Library Internships: Internships

The Library can host current MLIS students for a semester-long internship or field study during the academic year (Fall/Spring).  These positions are typically part time and are unpaid, however we will work with you to fulfill your academic and developmental requirements.  We are open to your interests, and can help you gain experience in a variety of fields in academic librarianship, such as:

• Access Services & Stacks Maintenance - Circulation, Course Reserves, ILL, Inventory, Data Collection, Customer Service, Employee Supervision
• Data - Develop library programing around data services 
• Reference & Instruction - Reference Sessions, Classroom Instruction, Workshops, Collection Development, LibGuides (like this one!)
