New Faculty Orientation Guide: Helpful Information

An overview of Priddy Library services.

Copying, Printing & Scanning

You will need a USG Printing Portal account to print. If you are a USG faculty, your account credentials are your SG number on your USG ID and the password you created when you set up your login. For more information on your USG login, please go to USG ID logon services

Printing is 10 cents for black & white jobs and 50 cents for color jobs. You are able to add money to your account by credit card through the printing portal or by cash through the kiosk in the library copy room. To add money using cash, you will need your USG ID card.

You may print from a library terminal or from your own laptop. To print from a laptop, you will need to click on the "Webprint" function in the printing portal on the left-hand side and follow the instructions.

To print from a library terminal, you will need to login to the computer using your USG login or a guest login (available at the service desk with a valid photo ID). If you already have funds on your account, you can access the document you need to print, select Follow-Me Black & White or Follow-Me Color printer, and click print. You can then retrieve your print job in the copy room by swiping your USG ID at the kiosk and selecting the print job you need.

Room Reservation

Group Study Rooms
Eight group student rooms are available for students use. Use of group study rooms requires a reservation that must be made in-person. At least 2 people are required to reserve a group study room, along with proof of USG affiliation. The representative must also indicate the course name & number, date, time, and number of people. There is a three hour maximum limit for use of the study rooms.

All group study rooms have monitors for use with laptops. Adaptors and cables are available at the Service desk to students with valid ID.

All group study rooms have an oversized whiteboard and one group study room is equipped with IDEAPAINT, which turns the whole wall into a whiteboard.
